職責描述：
1.Product packaging design and development in compliance with customer requirements. Establish packaging bills of material.
2.Communicate with customers and internal departments regarding packaging issues. Liaison with suppliers as necessary.
3.Developing and maintaining all packaging documentation required to support the production process. Creation and implementation of Packaging Process Standards.
4.Approve Supplier inbound packaging approval form, ensuring it optimizes our logistics and storage requirements.
5.Review of customer latest requirement to ensure the latest specifications are being met.
6.Maintain packaging components lists, developing a "Use Only and or preferred packaging standard for all products.
7.Coordinate test packaging packs as required by the customer
8.Complete Solid Works drawings of new/existing (modified) packaging components.
9.Notify internal departments (Sales, Purchasing, Material control, warehouse, and Production) of any changes to packaging components.
10.Regular review of packaging costs to determine price competitiveness in the marketplace.
11.Utilizing operations and methods analysis techniques to assist in ongoing continuous improvement efforts. Initiating performance improvement projects for productivity, cost reduction and quality.
12.Responsible for submitting packing cost in CRFQ.
13.Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

任職要求：
1.Engineering Degree or 3 years Technology Diploma;
2.3 years minimum engineering experience in the automotive industry or surrogate;
3.Data-mining and analysis expertise;
4.Hands on mechanical experience an asset;
5.Proven ability to lead, train and/or mentor other Packaging Designers;
6.SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modelling software experience required;
7.Experience in packaging test parameters including ISTM and ASTM test specs;
8.Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly with others in English.
