[(Senior) Image Quality Engineer]
Key words: Image Quality X-ray Product.
Job Overview:
Working in the image quality team of R&D department, the (senior) image quality engineer takes an expert role regarding image quality of X-ray products and performs related tasks as image quality definition, implementation, verification and validation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
? Translate clinical demands and advices into technical requirements
? Break down customer requirements to technical requirements that can be implemented with hardware and software components
? Ensure clinical image quality with adequate imaging hardware and appropriate image processing parameters.
? Verify and validate solutions so that image quality criteria of X-ray products are met.
? Ensure the compliance to standards and laws at system level.
? Collect opinions and feedbacks of image quality from radiographers and radiologists.
? Work with real clinical challenges. Solve clinical complaints regarding image quality and help customers with image quality improvement and customization.
? Work as a consultant to other teams and customers regarding image quality related topics.
? Stay with cutting-edge technologies and state-of-the-art of the market. Improve image processing algorithms and imaging technology with innovated ideas.

? Team work within R&D department
? Close cooperation and synchronization with counterpart of headquarter
? Close cooperation with detector and image processing specialists
? Close contact to national and international customers
Qualifications of knowledge / experiences:
The candidate should be at least familiar with 2 of the following fields, or with profound know-how and experience in 1 of the following fields.
1. X-ray physics
a. Understand X-ray physics, i.e., how X-ray is generated and characteristics of X-ray.
b. Understand the principles X-ray imaging devices, e.g., flat-panel detectors and image intensifiers.
c. Working experiences of X-ray related fields.
d. Working experiences in medical devices is a plus.
2. Digital image processing
a. Familiar with common image processing algorithms and digital signal processing algorithms.
b. Understand image quality quantification and uation criteria.
c. Working experiences with image processing pipeline design of medical imaging device is a plus.
3. Clinical Experiences
a. Education includes medicine (better medical imaging), or professionally trained in medical imaging.
b. Working experience in radiography department is a plus.
c. Understand radiographers’ demands and preferences regarding image quality.
d. Familiar with clinical workflow and diagnostic criteria.
Qualifications of education :
Biomedical Engineering, physics, computer science or medicine.
? Master degree or above
? 3+ years professional experience in related fields.
Other qualifications:
? Quick learning skill.
? Strong and good at logic.
? Good communication skill.
? Fluent oral English and good reading/writing skill, CET6 is must
? Team spirit
