Job Title:
*Senior GL Accountant, Global Business Service
Key responsibilities
?General Accounting: To perform data entry regarding to General Ledger function in daily operation e.g Journals per country request as per approval and as per policy. Run reconciliation report at each month end to ensure no un-posted batch and all GL/Sub-ledger match & Reconciliations are made. To make monthly closing process according to monthly reporting calendar so that ensuring timely and accurate financial information. Maintenance of accounting documents filing according to statutory requirements. To perform any ad-hoc projects as needed.
?Financial Analysis: To prepare any type of analytical report requested by Country Finance
?Controls: Ensures all activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, ethical standards and the internal Quality Management System.
?Internal Operations: To identify opportunities to streamline workflow, information flow, enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, improve data integrity, reduce costs and promote continued quality service, and implement as appropriate. Ad hoc involvement with PTP activities & process improvement. Performance of any other related duties as assigned or requested.
?Team Management: Manage day to day performance with BPO ATR(4 team members) based on agreed SLA matrix.
?Relationship Management: Manage day to day interaction with Japan finance team and BPO team effectively.
Requirements
?University Degree in accountancy or equivalent
?Have strong accounting skills including ATR/PTP/OTC.
?>6 years G/L experience in FIE
?Fluent Japanese and Workable English
?Smart and pick up quickly. Hands on approach with ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment
?Good Self-starter and can work under pressure
?Analytical, detailed oriented, accurate with a sense of urgency of complete projects
?Good team player and willing to take additional responsibilities
?Good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications
?ERP Experience/SAP Skills
?Experience with shared service organizations (internal or customer )
?Experience for project participation will be a plus
