Overview:
MCON is looking for a Marketing Communication Specialist (Junior to Intermediate level) to join our fast track dynamic team in Shanghai, China in the context of the cardess framework solution.
Your tasks and responsibilities will be in the areas of Automotive B2B digital solutions, mobile-apps, eCommerce, CRM and BI: you will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion.
Possible role development: building up Marketing Communication Team and act as Team leader.
The main industry you will work on will be automotive and automotive finance, wholesale and retail level.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data and business analysis from industry and product perspectives, collaborating with corporate marketing programs, manage program execution, track and report on metrics
2. Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends
3. Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
4. Drive marketing qualified leads through development and execution of digital marketing initiatives
5. Identify regional, national and international key events and happenings related to MCON
6. Define and coordinate the plan and delivery of a multi-channel Marketing Calendar
7. Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
8. Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
9. Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.)
10. Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
11. Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned, for example and not limited to:
a. Manage digital content and website for MCON
b. Create landing pages and microsites for local events and/or campaigns
c. Track and analyze key pages and site behavior to provide business insights and drive continual improvement of customers’ online experience on a monthly/project basis
12. Ensure that all programs comply with MCON’s Corporate Brand Guidelines
13. Work as part of marketing team to strengthen the overall marketing strategies of division
14. Monitor and manage spending of communication activities globally to meet or exceed annual budget
15. Assist with media inquiries and pro-actively seek media opportunities
16. Produce original marketing contributions
Professional Requirement:
1. BS degree in Business, Marketing, IT or relevant fields such as journalism and/or communication, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
2. 3+ years’ experience in marketing operation
3. Demonstrated excellence in writing, editing and IT technical sales and marketing material and high comfort level with Data topics required
4. Excellent project management and organizational skills required
5. Demonstrate ability to coordinate resources toward fulfillment of desired objectives
6. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
7. Demonstrate ability to plan, monitor activities according to priorities.
8. Demonstrated success in forming interdepartmental relationships as well as external relationships. Proven ability to work effectively and influence others in a matrix environment.
9. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Prezi and similar
10. Excellent reporting ability
11. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
12. Proficient in Chinese and English, speaking and writing. German would be a plus.
13. Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
